Do you have an innovative idea that can strengthen climate resilience, support sustainable agriculture, and help transform Zambia’s agrifood systems?
The National Designated Authority is pleased to announce an open Call for Project Ideas under the Green Climate Fund Readiness Project titled “Scaling Up Public-Private Co-Investments for Climate Action in Agrifood Systems.”
This initiative supports Zambia’s climate and agricultural priorities by helping identify impactful and investment-ready ideas that can strengthen food systems, unlock climate finance, and mobilize public and private sector investment.
NDA is inviting submissions from private sector actors, farmer organizations, cooperatives, financial institutions, civil society organizations, and public entities with innovative project ideas in areas such as climate resilient agriculture, agribusiness, value addition, irrigation, livestock systems, storage, processing, and other related agrifood solutions.
The call particularly seeks ideas that can support resilient and sustainable investments within Zambia’s maize, soybean, and livestock value chains, while promoting scalable solutions with strong development impact.
Selected concepts may contribute to Zambia’s emerging pipeline of climate relevant investment opportunities under the Green Climate Fund Readiness Programme.
