Today, my conviction led me to sharing with you, especially you that are establishing entities and business empires to be.
When you're starting a new business, or are reshaping or trying to grow your venture, the following should be of great help.
1. Take time to study the business you intend to venture into. Serious ventures require that you invest heavily in research. Once we have gained the knowledge, then you can think of starting small, to allow room for business accidents. Do the business with the whole lot of your heart. Don't rush, acquire knowledge. Also, invest more in knowledge, about the business and other information. Read books, from the Bible, to fiction, nonfiction to science and all other personal developmental reads. Today you might think you don't need certain information, but years to come, you will need it. So, acquire as much knowledge as you can; it will benefit you, immensely. Do not just do business because others are doing it. Do your own research.
2. Establish a team to work with. Identify the skill you need in your business, it shall help you set wheels to your venture. Create a network of professionals that are relevant to your line of business.
3. When you have an idea, you need to run with speed, you need to move swiftly. Or else, you will find that, someone has taken your idea, and refined it. So, speed is highly encouraged in business. Bearing in mind, issues in point 1, are adequately attended to.
4. Customer service is key. Is your client happy with your service? Are you attending to clients to their satisfaction? You will attract clients, and your clients, must bring other clients because of how well you may have attended or offered a service. Do this with a passion especially that, you are not the only one who may be offering a certain product or service. Customer satisfaction helps retain clients and attracts more.
5. Greatest of all the principles, is putting God at the Centre of all you do. Speak life into your business. God is the root of all ideas and all greatness you can ever imagine.
My hope is that, the above shall help somebody today, and in the future.
