Govt to introduce fast-track courts for exam fraudsters | WestMac Media

By Staff Writer, Lusaka
Minister of General Education, David Mabumba has disclosed that the ministry plans to introduce a fast-track court for candidates involved in examination malpractices.

The minister said this in parliament yesterday in a ministerial statement on the released 2018 grade 9 external and general certificate of education (G.C.E) examination results.

Mr Mabumba said there was need to change the legislations governing the exams in Zambia by introducing punitive measures as well as collaboration with the Judiciary in terms of fast-track courts.

He noted that the process to prosecute people involved in examination malpractice were talking long, therefore once the law is changed it will help end the trend.
