The conference organized by Kupes Young Women’s Network attracted atleast 320 participants.
And Founder of Kupes Young Women’s Network Norena Chiteba, said the conference was aimed at making young women realizes their full potential in life.
She said this year’s conference was held under the theme “why am I here: unlocking your personal journey”.
Meanwhile, renowned youth mentor Mulenga Kapwepwe has called for empowerment schemes for young women in the country.
Speaking as guest of honour at this year’s Kupes Young Women’s Conference this morning, Ms Kapwepwe said young women are the most vulnerable group in society because they lack financial empowerment to enable them led sustainable lives.
Ms Kapwepwe added that young women need mentor-ship to motivate them to work hard.
