A Ndola based youth only identified as Frederick Mutupa died in a fatal Kapiri Mposhi accident which occurred on Saturday night.
Mutupa, 20, died on the spot due to severe body injuries.
The accident occurred on Saturday at about 20:30hrs at Kabowa area, 7kms
away from Kapiri Mposhi Police Station towards Kabwe along Great North Road.
Central province commissioner of police, Lombe Kamukoshi said the accident involved Mr Simon Mwape, aged 46 of Twapya, Ndola and driving a Marcopolo PSV bus, reg no ABH 8577, from Lusaka to Copperbelt with 78 (seventy eight) passengers on board.
The Commissioner explained that the driver of the bus lost control of the motor vehicle due to excessive speed hence he went to the extreme left side off the road and the bus fell on its left side of the body.
Meanwhile, the body of Mutupa is in Kapiri Mposhi Hospital where the driver and other passengers who sustained various injuries are also admitted.
